-Shopaholic?-

Ok I confess I am truly a shopaholic. Even in the midst of my exam marking, I can still shop! Together with my colleagues, I've even made an appointment to look at vintage bags next Tuesday.

Women you may say but 'vanity thy name is woman'. Isn't that so apt? Ok I know some of you feminists out there may very well be wringing your hands now and deploring my statement. But which woman doesn't want to look good?

Sometimes I do dream about being Becky Bloomword in Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series. After all who doesn't want to be married to the rich and suave Luke Brandon? (Note: another gender biased statement. Hiak hiak..) Isn't it great to indulge in your passion of shopping while not spending a single cent of your own? I truly wonder if there's a demand for personal shoppers in Singapore..

Ah, daydreams...another of my fantasy would be to open my own cafe. Just read in the papers the other day about how a 22 year old boy opened a cafe with his friends specialising in brownies. Maybe it's time to start my baking business. My ideal cafe will allow you to enjoy a leisurely cup of afternoon tea while you are learning ahem..the finer points of cross stitch like french knot. Isn't that wonderful? *dreamy look*
